I'm the Kinda Girl Who....

February 19, 2013

I'm the kinda girl who.....
Washes her hair twice a week...it's not always pretty my friends.

Always has gummy bears stashed somewhere in my house....well, except when my husband eats them first.
Takes pictures of my kid's poop explosions and posts them to instagram. (you can find me at girlintheredshoes)

Eats the exact same thing for lunch every day. Spinach salad and turkey sandwich, in case you were wondering.
Pretends our pets speak in different accents. Wrigley and Henry are French (aka Monsieur and Henri) and Sophie is a Southern belle. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this.

Is obsessed with baby pajammas....or just "jammas" as we call them in our house.

Wore red shoes on my wedding day and named my blog accordingly.

Will do just about anything to get my baby to smile. Including talk in the annoying baby voice I swore I would never use.

Links up with awesome bloggers...and you should too!

  1. My dog Chloe, has her own voice and talks annoying, much like a teenage girl to me and her dad all the time!

  2. I love your wedding shoes!! I will wear hot pink on my wedding day, I'm sure. Or ridicuous sparkles!

And my pets totally have accents/different voices! My boxer talks like King Julian from Madagascar, my beagle is Dug from Up (but in a girl voice, cause she's a girl) and my cat is a grumpy old Scottish lady.

i can't believe I just admitted that, haha

  5. I had to comment, not just because I creepily agree with everything you've said (minus the red shoes!), but because my son had an identical poop explosion in those exact same pajamas.

So how the heck do I get that stain out? ;)

  11. My dog talks like the girl version of Chris Tucker when I do her voice. She talks very southern when my husband does her voice! Glad there are others out there who do the same thing!

  17. Oh my goodness, I love that your dogs have accents...we also think our dogs have accents. Leo is a Papillon (French for butterfly), so he of course has a French accent, and Sam is a rescue dog from a county south of us that is not exactly known for being high class...so he has a redneck accent.

They both have extensive back stories and lead really exciting (secret) lives too. We clearly have too much time on our hands!

  18. The animals with different accents cracks me up - my roommate and I discuss what kind of vehicle our pets drive... so equally as nutty?! ;)

  19. I've given both of our dogs their own voices! Wallace is American but Penny has a British accent. Odd because their Scottish terriers and neither has a Scottish accent :P
