I love baby showers. I also love bridal showers. Basically I love any type of party where I get to eat yummy food and decorate! And lucky me, I got to help plan
Erin's baby shower last week in California. And it was gorgeous! Erin's sister Nicole, friend
Sara, and I put our heads together and came up with an amazing shower for
Erin and Baby Alexandria....Lexi for short.
Erin has had a bit of a sweet tooth throughout her pregnancy. Scratch that. She's always had a sweet tooth! So she requested lots of desserts and a candy bar. What the pregnant lady wants, the pregnant lady gets! We were all in love with how the candy bar turned out.
Me with the mommy to be!
Erin made the pretty table runner herself and I made the tissue paper pom poms and paper banners.
Erin and I got up at 6:00 a.m. to start working on the candy tags and place cards....they turned out SO cute! And by the way, those sour peach hearts were addicting! Once we opened the bag we couldn't get enough!
Drink station. We served pink lemonade, water, and champagne.
Obsessed with the cute paper straws! I picked the mini pinwheels up from Hobby Lobby.
Paper banner with Alexandria's name on it for the fire place and more tissue paper pom poms. Special thanks to my mom for helping cut out all of those triangles!
I meant to have another cupcake for breakfast the next day but totally forgot. Sad, sad day.
Lexi letters made out of tissue paper for our favor table.
Sara made these adorable dinosaur cookies as well as a cookie mix inside the mason jars as favors. So cute!
I got to be the gift girl. Baby Lexi got a bib from where Erin and I went to school, the University of Redlands....had to strike a pose!
These rice krispie treats were so yummy. I wanted to eat them all! The dessert table looked adorable too and had a huge tissue paper pom pom hanging above it....guess we forgot to take a picture of it. You can see it in the mirror in the first photo.
We served chocolate covered strawberries, pink chocolate covered marshmallows, lots of fruit, cheese and crackers, and mini brownies, all made by Nicole and Erin's mom. Sugar overload!
Onesie station organized by Sara. Confession: I didn't make one. Oops! I was on craft overload. But they turned out super cute.
Me, Erin, Nicole, and Sara. Thanks for a wonderful time ladies! And thank you to
Erin and
Sara for these beautiful photos!
