The BFF is Engaged!
Congrats to my best friend Erin and her soon-to-be-husband Mike! They got engaged over the weekend and I couldn't be happier for them! Bring on the wedding planning!August 23, 2009

Best Buddies
Wrigley loves any attention he can get from Rye. And he is now obsessed with that yellow ball...because Rye played with it!
Rye's owner, our neighbor Sarah, gave us a bunch of Rye's old puppy supplies...including that purple harness Wrigley is wearing! Did you think the husband would let me buy something purple for a boy? No way! (Sarah's daughter is the one responsible for originally picking out Rye's accessories...which explains the purple).
They usually chase each other and then wrestle for awhile. It is hard to tell from these pictures, but Wrigley is several shades darker than Rye.
We love it when Rye comes over to play...he totally wears Wrigley out, which makes it easier for us at bedtime!
Best buds.

Bath Time

He doesn't seem to mind taking a bath and loves to drink the bath water.
All wet...silly pup!
Henry likes to watch the action. He loves it when the puppy gets a bath!
My helper!
All clean! Such a good boy.
His favorite part is getting wrapped up in a towel. (Can you see Henry still hanging around in the background?) The husband says we live in a zoo....I think he is right.
Nice and clean!

Wiggly
Wrigley has been spending a lot of time running around outside lately. It is really hard to get him to sit still for a picture! Our neighbor's granddaughter can't say "Wrigley" so she calls him "Wiggly", which is the cutest thing ever. It suites him well!August 13, 2009
Chew Boy
Wrigley loves to chew on stuff....all the time.
Whenever we go outside he manages to find something to nibble on.
The best is when he finds a stick in the yard like this one. He is so cute when he runs around with it in his mouth!

Getting Big
Our little man is growing up so fast! He has doubled in size and weighs 14 pounds. We have been working with him on sitting and walking on a leash and he will start puppy classes in a few weeks.August 6, 2009
Wedding Reception and Honeymoon
Here is our head table. I love how I am turned to talk to the girls and the husband is turned to talk to the boys!
The card box that my mom made...she is so talented. She gets the credit for so many of the little details that made the wedding special.
Another cute detail courtesy of my mom: little flags that she made!
Yummy caramel apples were our favors. They were a big hit!
Cutting the cake!
I remember being worried that the husband was going to smash the cake in my face....he didn't, smart guy. This was the only piece of cake we actually had time to eat. Luckily my mom saved some for us that we snacked on just before leaving on our honeymoon the next day. It was so good!
I love this picture. Me and the husband going in for a kiss, and Danny, the best man, leaning in too!
The bridal party dance. Hilarious. We danced to "At Long Last Love" by Frank Sinatra, which is one of my favorite songs.
I don't remember this happening...but I am not at all surprised.
Me and the husband. We danced to "They Way You Look Tonight" by Tony Bennett because the husband always sings that song to me (except he prefers the Frank Sinatra version). I heart him.August 5, 2009

Golfing
Setting up. I think I actually hit maybe 6 or 7. The ball to the right was definitely one that I hit. The husband thought I was exaggerating when I told him how bad I was. Well...now he knows! I don't think he will be taking me back to the driving range!

My fabulous maid of honor,
For our honeymoon we went to Sedona, Arizona and had a wonderful time relaxing, getting massages, and hiking. I wrote more about it
Thanks for stopping by!
